Let’s Meet

California licensed therapist who uses strategies from Gottman Method and DBT

Hi there! I’m Emily Fiedtkou, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #151943) who deeply values connection—both to others and to yourself. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, change, and see their potential and inherent worth. Therapy with me isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating a space where you can feel truly seen and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and work toward a more grounded, fulfilling version of yourself.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me experimenting with recipes from The New York Times, exploring the outdoors with my husband and our mini Bernedoodles, or getting in some practice on the tennis court.

Based in Santa Barbara, available virtually throughout California

My Approach

You’ll find space to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Some days, it’s about unpacking the tough stuff; other days, it’s about finding tools to help you move forward. Growth is a process, and I’m here to help you navigate it with compassion and intention.

Life can feel overwhelming, whether you’re stuck in the same arguments with your partner, questioning your confidence in dating, or trying to figure out how to balance all the moving pieces. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and create a path toward clarity, connection, and peace—both in your relationships and within yourself. I’ll help you process your experiences, identify patterns, and develop practical strategies so you can start feeling more empowered and less weighed down.
