Frequently asked questions.

Do you accept insurance?

No- I am an out of network provider. I do provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes! I am located in Santa Barbara, California. I have a home office in The Mesa. I also see clients located in others parts of California through Zoom.

Who do you work with?

I love working with couples, teens, and individuals navigating life changes (entering or graduating college, switching careers, new relationships).

What is the fee and how long are sessions?

Sessions with individuals are 45 minutes and $195. Sessions for couples are 60 minutes and $220. I offer three sliding scale spots for individuals or couples who are unable to financially afford my rates so that I can make therapy more accessible.

How long do you work with clients for?

It depends! We will collaborate during the first few sessions to determine your goals and how to reach them. Some clients may only need 6 months while others find it beneficial to engage in longer term therapy to help create long lasting changes.

Do you offer coaching?

Yes! I offer text-based coaching services. I find that this is helpful to generalize skills and help you change patterns of interactions or strengthen healthy new routines. Coaching is an additional $50 added on to your weekly session or $100 if added on to biweekly (every other week) services.

How do I get started?

Either fill out the contact form or text me at (323) 776-1892. We will set up a free consultation call to get to know each other better. If we decide to work together then you’ll receive online paperwork to fill out prior to your first session.

What should I expect from the first session?

The first session is used to get to know each other and better understand what you want out of therapy. I’ll help you formulate goals for therapy and create a vision for your future self. If you decide that it is not a good fit, I am happy to help you in the process of finding the right therapist for you. The most important part of therapy is feeling comfortable and connected to your therapist!
